Skipper Phil Jagielka is looking forward to the Blues giving Evertonians “special European nights” again next season.
And the defender hopes the Club’s qualification for Europe is reward for Toffees fans’ loyal support this campaign.
Jagielka has enjoyed memorable matches for Everton against continental competition since joining in the summer of 2007.
And with the Club guaranteed a seventh-placed finish at least this term – and with it a return to Europe for 2017/18 – the 34-year-old is pleased at the prospect of fans getting their passports at the ready.
“Good friends of mine are massive Evertonians and they are absolutely delighted,” he said.
