David Unsworth has confirmed that both Morgan Schneiderlin and James McCarthy are in contention for Everton's trip to Chelsea on Wednesday.
Frenchman Schneiderlin was withdrawn during the second half of the Blues' Europa League game against Lyon last week and sat out the defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.
McCarthy, meanwhile, has been troubled by a hamstring problem but made his return to the pitch under Unsworth in the Under-23s’ Premier League International Cup loss to Wolfsburg.
The pair joined the group on Tuesday morning as Unsworth oversaw his first training session since being placed in temporary charge of the Toffees.
